3m mixed competition
Mixed double or 3m mixed synchro, the relatively new competition goes by a couple of names in diving circles but the challenge is the same every time.
Each couple has to show 5 dives from 5 different diving groups. The first two dives have to have a difficulty of 2,0. The following three aren’t restricted in terms of difficulty.
In order to gain as many points as possible, the duos should be as synchronised as possible. Many go as far as wearing matching outfits to look as similar as possible.
Germany was in the final with two teams - Lena Hentschel and Lou Massenberg as well as Jana Lisa Rother and Frithjof Seidel.
