For the 64th time, the International Divers Day in the University and Hanseatic City of Rostock allows the best springboard and platform divers from all over the world to showcase their talent.
Athletes from 24 nations have confirmed their participation in this year’s International Divers Day – among them, numerous champions. Look forward to high-level sport and exciting competitions on four days.
Many nations see their start in Rostock as a preparation and first comparison for the Olympic Games in Tokyo next year, especially as the first quotas for the Olympic Games will be awarded this year. Therefore, I am wishing all athletes the best of luck!
The International Divers Day is an internationally acclaimed competition. That is mainly thanks to the organising committee surrounding Andreas Kriehn. But there are also countless volunteers and members of the organising club that play a big role in making the International Divers Day a success and one of the biggest sporting events in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Thank you to each and every one of you!
It is my pleasure, as the prime minister of our federal state, to be the patron of the 64th International Divers Day. Thank you to all sponsors and supporters who played a vital role in the preparation and organisation of this event.
I am wishing all athletes successful and exciting competitions and all our guests from near and far lots of fun.
Prime Minister of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania
